Setting Up Shop: Day 3

Yuck, I am finding some major dirt in this place!  Don't worry, I am cleaning all the shelving prior to storing fabric and supplies, so your items will be clean.

The dining room table has been moved into the studio until Michael can build my workbench or we get chairs for the dining room.  The odds and ends that belong to the house have been removed from my cabinets and taken to the shed, now I should be able to make some real progress.

The studio's big news for today:
The used embroidery machine I purchased from ebay never worked and is now officially dead.  It would cost so much to repair and would be unreliable, so...






I ordered my new embroidery machine!  Now I will be able to further customize my lovies for you.

Setting up shop

In preparation for relaunch and due to the move, I have to set up my new studio.  See how it is coming along.

Once a kitchen, now converted into a huge laundry room, my new studio is right off the living room and within earshot of the playroom, so I can keep an eye on the boys while working.

Hooray for cabinet space!  I will finally have a place to put everything without burying it under other stuff.

I do have to share with the laundry though.

There is still a lot to get done, but I have already made progress.
